This Reviewer-Loved Walking Pad ‘Exceeded Our Expectations, But Not Our Budget’ — And It’s Over Half Off

The Real Deal: We use deal trackers and commerce experience to sift through “fake” hike-and-drop deals and other deceptive sales tactics. Products will usually be rated at least 4 stars with a minimum 15% discount (and when there’s an exception, we’ll tell you why). Walking is one of the easiest ways to stay active and fit; the benefits are endless. Just 21 minutes of walking daily may reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Anecdotally, our own Lindsay Holmes bought a walking pad during quarantine, and she reported having better posture, less stress and more mental clarity. Bottom line: We should all be walking more.
Consider grabbing a foldable walking pad if you want to increase those steps like Holmes. They take up less space than a traditional treadmill, operate via remote control and can fit underneath a standing desk. And unlike other minimal walking pads we’ve covered in the past, this one has a bar for maintaining balance and increasing safety. This HuffPost-reader favorite folding treadmill is on sale for 51% off, way more than the first time we covered this treadmill at 34% off. Several customers — from seniors to remote workers — say the walking pad helped keep them active, rain or shine, night or day. Normally $349.99, this foldable treadmill is down to just $169.77, its lowest price of the year.
The folding treadmill has adjustable speeds up to 7.6 mph, an excellent range for light walkers and fast joggers, and comes with a remote control to change settings. Folded up, you can slip it underneath your bed or lean it inside of a closet or storage space. When unfolded, a small digital display tells you how fast you’re walking or jogging, plus it has a mountable shelf so you can place a phone or book on it to stream, listen or read while staying active. It has a 6-foot power cord for easy outlet reach, and, according to several reviewers, initial set up is simple.
“It fits perfectly next to my desk so that I can walk during conference calls or breaks,” says reviewer Christopher L Kehl. “Setup was super easy. The small platform is perfect for my Kindle or my phone. It is very simple to use and is helping me to move more throughout the day. We have a full sized treadmill in the basement but having one right next to my desk is a game changer. I can walk for 5 or 10 minutes at a time and hop off and go back to my computer easily if something pops up. It is quiet, my husband doesn’t hear it down the hall and my son doesn’t hear it from the next room.”
Reviewers say they use their foldable treadmills everywhere and anywhere at home, from underneath standing desks and in bedrooms to garages and in front of televisions. It’s also a solution for many to stay active during awful weather — from avoiding icy sidewalks and snowy streets to hot, swampy air.
Whether you’re looking to kickstart your fitness journey, get extra daily steps in or want a convenient way to work out, this walking pad could be an excellent investment — especially on sale. “I did all my research on all the smaller portable moveable treadmills. This seemed to be the most stable. I have no complaints! The bar goes up and down easily. The dial on the bar is good quality. I haven’t seen any weird calibration with the actual treadmill track. You can pick the backside up like wheel barrel and it has wheels to easily move around the house which is so nice because its pretty heavy for one person to move. Fits perfect under my bed when not in use. I also liked that the bar and the tablet mount is very stable when you run on highest speed for my ipad or phone. The only thing is that the remote did not work. I even tried a different battery. But you do not need the remote if you have the bar up with the dial that does everything for you. Worth the money and starting my weight-loss journey.” — Yoga_phoe (This review has been edited for length. Read full review here.)

“As someone living in a rural area without access to walking trails, especially in the winter months, my wife has been looking for a simple way to get some daily steps in at home. The UREVO Under Desk Treadmill has been a great solution for her needs! This treadmill is lightweight and easy to move around. We were able to set it up with ease. The compact size also makes storing it away a breeze when not in use. It folds up nicely and can slide right under a bed or high enough couch. The setup process was quick and straightforward. Within minutes we were up and walking! It operates a little noisily, but while streaming documentaries and lifestyle videos, we simply turn up the volume. The LED display provides clear stats like steps, time, speed, distance, and calories. We love that it has a remote control, so you can adjust settings on the fly without breaking stride. My wife and I have found that using the treadmill is a nice incentive to get in daily activity, especially on cold or rainy days when we can’t go outside. She will treat herself by walking while catching up on travel videos, which makes exercise feel less monotonous. It’s been a great way to avoid being a “couch potato,” and the little bit of activity leaves her feeling good. For anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use compact treadmill ideal for getting steps in at home, we highly recommend the UREVO Under Desk Treadmill! It has exceeded our expectations, but not our budget.” — Daniel Middleton

“Super quiet…no one can tell when I step on it. Perfect for the office. I don’t really go too fast, mainly just walk 15min or up to an hour at a time. I haven’t used the bar that flips up so can’t comment on that. I wish the remote could turn the unit on and off instead of having to pull it out slightly to get at the switch on front. My boss got a diff walking pad and her on/off was similar to mine it’s out it being on the remote so maybe that’s a safety feature. Overall very pleased….dont judge it by the off-kilter English in the manual, it’s perfect for an office..” — Anita vigil

“For a Senior this treadmill comes in perfect for my needs. Easy setup, Length is right, controls are easy to navigate – from a slow start to however much I want to increase speed. Folds perfectly under sofa with the help of the wheels. Keep in mind, for those who have balance issues, the handle bar is a bit too forward. I would have liked if handle bar could be adjusted. Urevo has other models that have side handle bars so you may consider those models instead. All-in-all the Urevo models are well made and is a good piece of machinery.” — Luna
